It is a New Year and time for a spring clean!  Exhibition and Conference season is nearly upon us, so you need to get your exhibition stands out, dust them down and check to see if they are still relevant for your business.

The key to successful exhibition planning is to get your stand ready early.  If your 2020 marketing plan includes exhibiting, then it is really important to make sure that you have everything ready in plenty of time.  The last thing you need, at an already hectic time, is to be organising content, design, printing and delivery at the last minute.

Here are a few things that you should check are up-to-date:

1. Content:

Make sure that the content still reflects the products and services that you are currently offering.

If anything has changed within the business in the past year you will need to include or remove anything out of date from the posters.

Check that the content clearly represents your brand and is using the right words to attract your target audience.

2. Images:

Look at the images and photos used in your posters and decide if they still reflect the brand images.

Ensure that you have images of new products and services and any discontinued ones are removed.

If you have new employees or people have left and there are photos of them then you might want to change these too.

3. Contact Details:

People need to know how to contact you or find out more about your company, these details need to be up-to-date. 

Add your social media links and consider using a hashtag especially for exhibitions so that you can track where your audience and coming from and use it to engage with people at the show.
